    Hello Everyone,
My name is Steve. I am 40 and was cut at birth. I always assumed restoration was surgical so i never considered it. A few weeks ago, I found out how wrong I was. So here I am. I recently purchased the canister/tape kit because I have no slack. I intend to start tomorrow. My short term goal is to use the canister the next for months to gain enough slack to use a strapless device. I know this is a long journey so I am in no rush to rush to an end point. I hope to wear it 40 hours a week (8 hours/day Mon to Fri) until my tape runs out and then reassess.

Any advice Would be greatly appreciated.

I used the t-strap method because of starting with less than zero slack (testicles being forced back into body due to the lack of foreskin).

I did a bunch of tugging at night. I put the t-strap on my penis and put the suspender strap over my shoulder so my penis was oriented for night time erections. On the nights I woke up I released the suspender strap and resumed tugging in the morning.

I am nearing the end of my foreskin restoration. I conclude you don't have to tug 24/7 to bring the optimal response. You will need to get use to your skin and what stimulates growth; what is needed for rest periods.

Just remember one thing: Don't be "superman". You can cause skin tears. Slow and steady wins this race.

It took me awhile to get going but I have it on. Is it normal when starting out to have to push my penis back in to grab enough skin. For example, I have no skin to roll up on the outside of the canister so i have to push my penis/glans back until I get enough. The end result is my penis is half as long as it normally is because I am sliding the top half back in on itself in order to get a hold on to something to tug.

Hi Steve, welcome. I too started with the canister method. Here is the best way to do it. Use Mefix tape only! Nothing else works as well. Make sure to get some silicone based skin adhesive from Advanced Devices along with their citrus based adhesive remover. Removing the tape can be very hard on your skin without it. Use the adhesive directly on the bottom 1/2 inch of the canister making sure not to get ANY inside and let it dry for 2 or 3 minutes before applying it, then roll your skin up onto the adhesive treated band evenly. This is much easier than trying to turn the tape inside out for use on the canister and it grips better. Next take a 1" wide strip of Mefix tape, long enough for a double wrap around with about 1/2" of it on your skin. Let the glue on the tape and canister set up for 10-15 minutes before applying any tugging force and when you do BE CAREFUL. Skin tears suck. I use an overhead anchor above my bed for my tugging strap with a small digital fish scale at the end to measure tugging force. Start light for short periods and work up from there. Your skin needs to get used to this. Generally no more than a pound of tension is needed, usually much less. I'm using 8-9 oz in several 30 minute sessions per day and that works good for me. Everyone's optimal tension is different due to different skin types, so you will have to experiment with tension.
Here's a bonus: If you are using a 35mm film canister, a CAT II tugger body fits atop it perfectly as long as you open up the end of the canister completely. You can attach it to the canister with black electrical tape. Now you have a dual tension canister! This will tension inner skin as well and in no time you will be able to use that CAT II as designed.
Any question, PM me any time.

Yes. All the tissues of the penis are flexible, so no biggie. As long as you can apply tension to shaft skin (which is stretchier still) then you're good.

I am in my third week of taping and I can do this. I can now force some coverage erect. My wife came home after a couple week business trip and immediately noticed the smoother glans. I know I have a long ways to go but after two weeks I am more confident and excited for future progress than I was.

Good deal! Keep at it. It only gets better from here on out.
