  • Hi Everyone

I have just signed-up to the forum so wanted to stop by and say my hellos to the other members. I was born with a rare condition called aposthia, which I'm sure many people here have heard of. I have always felt like there is something missing but that's not to say that I have ever let not being born with foreskin, get in my way. Now I'm older and can afford it, I have been considering whether I should opt for foreskin restoration, that's why I wanted to join the forum and see what other people felt in a similar circumstance to myself. Have a good day, thanks.

I have done a lot of reading on this site and one thing that stood out is that if restoration can be done by stretching the foreskin it seems that would be preferred to surgery. Since you were born with this condition, if I were you, I would likely consult with my physician. If he recommended surgery, I would seek three opinions. If one of them says attempt stretching, I would go with that. Of course you could also research it on the internet.

My Taoism practice began with the owner's manual.
The owner's manual to the male human body!
May the (tugging) force be with you! A good salutation: YIFR (yours in foreskin restoration).

NO SURGERY! You will end up with some nerve damage. Stretching IS the way to go.

I couldn't agree with you more. Everyone's situation is different. Maybe I should have said to try and find a doctor that supports tugging, then you'll know that at least the advice will favor Non surgical methods.

Considering the attitude that most American doctors have toward the male forskin, I'd think most of them would tell a patient who was born without one, that he should be glad about it, and would discourage him from trying to get a foreskin by tugging.
