  • Do I even have enough inner skin left to grow?

    Hey all,

wanting to start restoring but I’m concerned I don’t have enough inner skin to stretch, especially on the dorsal side.

is what I have remaining just the sulcus or is it inner skin?

    thanks,

    matt

    Hi,
    Sorry you were cut.

I see a LOT of penis pics because I make devices and guys send me ruler photos so I can size their device. I'd say about 70% of cut men have more surviving inner skin than you have.

Any skin you expand will increase the ability of the whole skin tube to slink and glide and allow the skin closest to the glans to remain in contact with the glans. Both skin and glans will benefit from touching each other. I advise restorers to keep the skin rolled forward over the glans 24/7 (except when tugging) as soon as they can. The Your-Skin Cone https://tlctugger.com/your-skin-cone/ lets you do that comfortably and discreetly.

In my humble opinion, you don't actually have much, but you have enough. You still have a mucous membrane. There is no reason to be discouraged.

But at first, don't worry about this detail. Start restoring your foreskin. Even if the tugging favors the outer foreskin more than the inner, the work is worth it. After a few months, you will be able to work on the inner foreskin.

        Thanks!

So that 3-4mm on the dorsal side is actually inner skin and not just the sulcus?

I'm not an anatomist, I think you have some mucosa between the scar line and the crown of the glans.

Restoration is a long journey. When I started in 2009 I could not have imagined what the dorsal side near my glans would look like. I had a lot of scar tissue and not much frenulum. My skintube is now really long compared to no free skin at the beginning. My frenulum has lengthened in the same way as all of the skin around my shaft. As you progress, there will be a lit of time and observation that will inform you about how you will proceed. My frenulum seems to function as intended. When my groin area cools, my foreskin slams shut around my glans so tight I can actually feel the tightness of it. I no longer worry about whether or not my foreskin will function as it did before I was cut. My focus now is to just keep producing length until I have full unforced erect coverage.....and then some. One of my favorite lines that I have read goes something like this: You can never have too much foreskin. If you start tripping over it in the shower you will just have to install grab bars.

You have more than I had when I started, and perhaps less, depending upon which part of the penis you are pointing to. So I would say yes, you have enough to restore, and I have been successful, so no reason you won't be just as successful.

BTW, I was confused by the term dorsal that you used above technically it means top side or posterior side depending on the body part. The foot is easy....it is the top side. On the penis, when erect is the top side, when flaccid is the part closest to the groin. Since when flaccid it points down, I thought it would refer to the underside. For me, when used to refer to the penis, I find it confusing. That being said, I thought that you were asking about the frenulum on the bottom side when holding the penis straight out from the body so that is what my post was about.

Note that ALL the skin you manage to tension will expand. Some of the surviving inner skin very near the corona may be firmly adhered to the core of the shaft so it won't be part of the tensioned span of skin.

The sulcus is defined as the slight indentation of the shaft behind the glans. It just happens to be covered by inner foreskin.

The part that is firmly attached will not stretch and produce more skin because it is firmly anchored....however, tensioning the inner skin beyond the anchor point towards the scarline will most definitely produce more inner skin. Even a small amount of inner skin can produce a lot of inner skin to the point that, eventually you can produce a foreskin that has the scarline at the rollover point.

You will be glad when you have restored. It is well worth the effort. I was cut real tightly. Look at my progress gallery.
