Welcome and glad to hear you've decided to restore, it's something you will never regret!

I do remember when first restoring it was a pain in the butt until you work out a routine. You will sleep fine at night if you have the device put on correctly though for the first few months I would dare say you can expect it to slip off when you get erections in your sleep, there won't be any pain just the feel of it slipping off, nothing a quick reset couldn't fix.

I used to wear mine at night as well, but the moment I woke up I would be in agony and would quickly rip it off. It especially hurt when I would wake up with an erection. Will have to mess around with it and try wearing it again while sleeping. Don't know why it would hurt so bad, I never really put that much tension on it at night whilst sleeping.
I would suggest that would be two things, too much tension and also incorrect point of equilibrium creating uneven tension between inner and outer foreskin if you get that right it should not hurt.

Also don't forget to experiment around multiple times while your awake for the perfect ouchless tension setting.

Btw welcome to the forums! KOT!

Welcome. You will be quite glad you've made this decision. I started restoring when I was 14 years old.

I went from virtually nothing (with testicles being forced back into my body with each erection!) to CI 5 in about 18 months. I got ahead of puberty and my body applied some natural tension. I've continued the process as an adult and am very grateful I did.

I need to caution you with one thing Stephen: Listen to your body. Don't worry about the time frame. Go at your own pace. Once I committed I was 100% committed. I tugged while sleeping. I tugged while at high school. I tugged while at my part time job. Everywhere I went I wore the tugger.

I want to encourage you to keep a photo journal. It doesn't need to be online. I am not wanting to make you uncomfortable. A photo journal is how you'll be able to see progress because it is slow at the start. It will take a computer screen to see your foreskin growing in. You need to choose a repeatable angle. You want to include your scrotum. Some of my tugging moved the hair off the shaft of my penis allowing my scrotum growing. The head of my penis went from something like a drum (very tight) to comfortable. My scrotum hangs about 1 inch lower.

Just one thing to add.. Keeping a record for yourself is a fantastic idea, though don't take your first photos till one month after you have established a routine.
