New to this. I have a DTR Bell Pack. Not sure what is meant by having enough skin. I am able to roll enough skin over the glands, onto the cone, and secure it by rolling the clear flexible gripper over the skin. It stays on when I hook an elastic strap to my sock. I can feel pressure on the skin. Is this normal? Are there any warning signs I need to be aware of. Skin color? Skin temp, etc.

What is considered enough skin before using tugging device?

The better your device fits the width of your glans, the less critical your available amount of slack is.
I don't know about the DTR, but for the TLC Tugger we say that the test for whether you can wear a tapeless device is this: If you have slack skin that lets you temporarily FORCE-cover and hide the whole glans with skin (I mean only while you're holding it), then you can apply a tapeless device like a Tugger, Hanger, or Packer (NUDGE THE GLANS BACK with the other hand for this test).
To use the TLC-X we go a bit further and say you need slack skin that lets you temporarily force skin forward to cover the glans such that you can comfortably pinch the skin closed to fully hide the glans inside skin.

If your scarline is not visible on the outside of the device, use the pusher without strapping it to your leg. That will lengthen the skin inside the device and eventually grow enough skin that the scarline will get to the rollover point of the device. When that happens you can use bothe the strap and the pusher rod.Check Out My Progress Gallery Presently a CI-9

My Taoism practice began with the owner's manual.
The owner's manual to the male human body!
May the (tugging) force be with you! A good salutation: YIFR (yours in foreskin restoration).

I’d also like to know if age plays into one’s ability to restore their foreskin.
Does the skins ability to stretch decrease with age?
Has anyone started restoring after 60?
Who has done manual stretching to get needed gland coverage for a device?
How was the skin manually stretched?
The duration of stretches and frequency?
Realizing patience is a virtue, how long did it take to see noticeable progress from manual stretching?

We all lose about a million skin cells per day, and those are replenished by the process of mitosis. It continues in all of us until we're dead. You could Google for scholarly articles about tensile tissue expansion rates versus age, but I say what's the point? Let's focus on things we control, like how we grip the skin, how much force we apply, and how long we wear it. Those things we control. Age we can't change.

Age in a sense is irrelevant. We can't change our age, so we have to deal with it, even if it makes growing skin different than when we were younger. Men older than 60 have grown plenty of skin, and I know of no one who has reported that after age 60, they could not, or it was so slow it was not worth it.
